Even after leaving Malaysia on Monday (27 October), US President Donald Trump couldn't stop praising the country and its Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Speaking at the APEC Summit in South Korea on Wednesday (29 October), Trump commended Malaysia's role in brokering peace between Thailand and Cambodia through the Kuala Lumpur Peace Agreement.

"We used a beautiful facility in Malaysia. Malaysia was fantastic, and the Prime Minister is great, a great guy," Trump said.
During his visit to Kuala Lumpur for the 47th ASEAN Summit, Trump and Anwar witnessed the signing of the historic accord between Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, ending a decades-long dispute.
Trump described the moment as "beautiful" and said it could save millions of lives.
He also met Anwar for a bilateral meeting, where both leaders signed the Malaysia-US Reciprocal Trade Agreement and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to enhance cooperation in technology, energy, and key minerals.
