In a recent accolade, Malaysia's Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been recognized as one of the most influential leaders and politicians in the Muslim world. Anwar's significant role and impact on the global stage have earned him a notable position in "The Muslim 500: The World's 500 Most Influential Muslims 2024."

Anwar, who also serves as the chairman of Pakatan Harapan and Malaysia's finance minister, has secured the 17th spot among the Top 50 most influential leaders in the latest edition of this prestigious list. Notably, he has advanced from his previous ranking of 22nd in the same category.

Among his esteemed peers, Anwar is placed just behind the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, affectionately known as Jokowi, who holds the 13th position on the list. 

Furthermore, Anwar Ibrahim is also recognized as the 11th most influential figure in the category of rulers and politicians.

"The Muslim 500" bases its rankings on a comprehensive assessment of multiple factors, including culture, thought, finance, and politics. The influential leaders selected are those who have demonstrated the ability to effect substantial changes that resonate with the Muslim world and its followers.
