Taking the advice seriously, he carefully selected the numbers 1599, 7711, and 6563 for his entries. When the draw was held on April 5, two of his chosen numbers, 1599 and 6563, emerged victorious, securing him the multimillion-ringgit prize.
The winning ticket was purchased at a lottery outlet located in Sungai Puyu, Butterworth.
