Born in Ampang, Yew or more famously known as Soya, is an ultra-talented audio engineer whose flawless work is credited in several masterpieces such as Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Lion King, Ferdinand, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Aquaman, and his latest accolade? the recording engineer for Oscar award-winning movie, Dune!

According to NST, Soya, who is currently working at Hans Zimmer's production studio, had also contributed his amazing work on many popular series and movies on platforms such as Netflix, Disney Plus, and HBO, which were all created amidst the pandemic. 

The sense of pride we all feel when Malaysians abroad made a name for themselves internationally-- let's hope more Malaysians will be able to shine just as bright as Soya and on behalf of Goody!, congratulations!
