Sajat, known for her engaging content, took to TikTok Live to showcase the preparation of a classic Malaysian dessert, Seri Muka, with the help of her viewers.

As Sajat demonstrated the steps involved in making this beloved kuih with the help of her viewers, the TikTok live was reported to have been watched by 30,000+ users. However, as the cooking session neared its end and it was time to savor the Seri Muka kuih, something unexpected happened.

Sajat, unable to hold back her emotions, began to shed tears. She shared with her audience that she had been craving this traditional Malaysian dessert for a very long time. Being far from home, surrounded by unfamiliar surroundings, only intensified her longing for a taste of the familiar.

Despite the distance, Sajat's cooking session served as a powerful reminder of the unbreakable bond that connects people to their roots and the significance of cherished cultural dishes. As she took her first bite of the homemade Seri Muka, her tears of homesickness turned into tears of joy, warmth, and gratitude.
