WATCH: Two ATM Helicopters Crashed During TLDM Military Training In Perak, ALL Members Involved Confirmed Dead

Two helicopters belonging to the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) crashed at the TLDM Stadium in Lumut, Perak, during a training session.


Details surrounding the incident are scarce, with no official information available regarding the individuals involved in the crash. An earlier reports of casualty has been informed, although it cannot yet be confirmed.

UPDATE:


At 9:03 in the morning, a duo of helicopters, one HOM and the other a Fennec model, took off from Padang Sitiawan. Video footage suggests a collision occurred as they attempted to align for a ceremonial flypast over the Lumut TLDM Base airspace.


Following the collision, both helicopters spiraled out of control, resulting in a devastating crash. The HOM helicopter descended onto the stairs of Lumut TLDM Stadium, while the Fennec helicopter plunged into the swimming pool at the Lumut TLDM Sports Complex.


The individuals affected are as follows:


a. HOM Aircraft (M503-3) - 7 crew members:


1. Cdr Muhammad Firdaus bin Ramli RMN - Commanding Officer of Squadron 503.


2. Lt Cdr Wan Rezaudeen Kamal bin Wan Zainal Abidin RMN.


3. Lt Cdr Mohammad Amirulfaris bin Mohamad Marzukhi RMN.


4. PW II TLR (AQM) Muhammad Faisol bin Tamadun.


5. Identity pending confirmation.


6. Identity pending confirmation.


7. Identity pending confirmation.


a. Fennec Aircraft (M502-6) - 3 crew members:


1. Cdr Muhamad Amir bin Mohamad RMN - Commanding Officer of Squadron 502.


2. Lt Sivasutan a/l Thanjappan RMN.


3. PW II TMK Mohd Shahrizan bin Mohd Termizi.
