Malaysia boleh!

Looks like there's another Malaysian joining the star-studded cast of the film adaptation of Wicked, and it's none other than Aaron Teoh, who has starred in local films such as Merrily We Roll Along (2014) and Tick Tick Boom (2015).

The London-based actor will be part of the two-part films directed by Crazy Rich Asians' filmmaker, Jon M. Chu alongside big names like Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey and many other notable names in the industry.

The former vocal teacher relocated to Britain with his wife in 2017, where he quickly got involved in the local theatre community and began going to auditions. Theatre enthusiasts may recognise him as Prince Chulalongkorn in the musical production of The King and I.

According to Wicked's director, the film is expected to be released "on successive Christmas holidays beginning December 2024." That's about two years to go! Can't freakin wait!
