A Malaysian guy revealed his experience on Tantan Confessions Malaysia, a Facebook confession group, about being criticized by his girlfriend for not earning enough, despite earning more than RM10,000 per month and paying her RM1,000 on a regular basis.

He disclosed his salary data anonymously, disclosing a monthly income of RM10,780 that included a base salary of RM2,500 plus commissions and incentives.

His net income after deducting EPF, EIS, PCB, and SOCSO was RM8,944.01.

Despite his salary, his girlfriend claimed that it wasn't enough, even if he gives her RM1,000 each month.

Netizens' reactions to the post were varied. Some praised his efforts, but questioned his expensive utility bills. 

Many netizens chastised his girlfriend for her displeasure and urged he look for a more appreciative companion. Others voiced worries about his financial stability.
