Marc Jacobs took over the creative reins of Louis Vuitton in the early 2000s. Thanks to his whimsical designs for the fashion house, most of his masterpieces have become (and are still) highly coveted.  

The LV Miroir Monogram collection, namely, brought 'wow' factor upon the luxury world during the 2006-2007 fall/ winter show. 

While the ultry-shiny silhouette wasn't everyone's cup of tea, a few famous celebs proved otherwise. 

  
After Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian and even Khloe were papped carrying these Miroir Alma beauties, demands for the bags skyrocketed. 

The famous duo even recreated the paparazzi shot for Kim's Skims brand.

Even fashion mogul, Kimora Lee Simmons, has a few of these in Lockit and Alma, which she intends to pass down to her daughters someday. 

As LV no longer makes these, the only way you can snag the collection is via preloved market.
