A TikTok video by user @Fatninazman has gone viral after capturing a rather chilly ride in an e-hailing car that felt more like a mobile icebox than a typical ride.
@fatninazman Ni kalau complain tak sejuk jugak tatau lah. First time naik grab kipass sampai 5. nampak sangat Malaysia panas #grab #geabcar original sound - Fatnin Azman
In the short clip, the passenger couldn't help but marvel at the sheer number of mini fans in the car, not one, not two, but five of them, strategically mounted across the interior. Fans were attached to the back of the front seats, on the ceiling, and around the cabin, all working overtime alongside the already blasting air-conditioning.
The user was clearly impressed by the driver's next-level approach to battling Malaysia's sweltering heat.
She added that this was the first time she had experienced such a setup in a car and gave a shoutout to the driver for being so thoughtful and considerate toward passenger comfort, especially during a heatwave.
While many netizens joked that the car could double as a mini North Pole, others applauded the driver's effort to go above and beyond just providing a ride. For many, it was a humorous yet refreshing reminder of just how far Malaysians are willing to go to beat the heat.
