In a world often filled with negativity, a recent Facebook post by a man named Yu KH reminded everyone that kindness still exists. His post, which has since gone viral, featured a heartfelt moment that unfolded on a traffic-congested road, and it all began with a stalled car.
The footage, captured by a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera, showed a man in a blue shirt struggling to push his Perodua Kancil to the side of the road after it broke down at a traffic light junction. Despite repeated attempts, he was unable to move the vehicle, possibly due to the limited space around him. His face visibly showed signs of panic as the situation became increasingly difficult.
Just when the situation seemed hopeless, help came from two unexpected heroes. In the video, two girls, believed to be students from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), were seen getting out of a Proton Saga before rushing over to assist the man.
With the combined effort of the three individuals, they managed to push the Kancil to the side of the road, ensuring it no longer obstructed traffic. The moment was made even more heartwarming by the fact that the girls offered their help without hesitation, despite the rain pouring down around them.
Once the car was safely out of the way, the girls quickly dashed back to their vehicle, just in time for the traffic light to turn green.
"I was truly amazed by the thoughtfulness of the two girls in the Saga who were willing to get out in the rain to help the uncle push his broken-down Kancil to the side of the road before running back to their car," Yu shared in his post.
The post quickly gained traction online, with many praising the noble actions of the two students. The comments section was filled with admiration, with some netizens even expressing gratitude toward the girls' parents for raising such kind-hearted individuals.
On TikTok, users echoed similar sentiments, lauding the girls for their selflessness and proving that acts of compassion, no matter how small, can make a big difference.
In times of distress, these two young women stepped up, showing that empathy and quick action can go a long way in brightening someone's day.
