A recent video shared on TikTok (@izzokayyy) has been gaining attention online, capturing the noble actions of two Grab food riders who stepped up when the road at Taman Len Seng, Kuala Lumpur began to flood during a downpour.
In the short clip, both riders can be seen clearing garbage and debris that had accumulated over a drain, blocking water flow and causing the road to fill up with rainwater. Despite the heavy rain, the duo did not hesitate to take action getting completely soaked, with even their shoes submerged all in an effort to ease the situation for other road users.
The video has since garnered over 400K views and nearly 20K likes, reflecting how much the public appreciated their efforts. Many netizens flooded the comment section with words of praise, acknowledging the riders' willingness to endure discomfort to help others.
Their actions were also noticed by the official Grab Malaysia TikTok account, which commended them for demonstrating a shining example of kindness and responsibility.
One of the riders later explained his intention behind the act, writing,
"I just cleaned the clogged drain so the floodwater could flow. My intention was to make it easier for everyone passing through that road."
Small gestures like this remind us that everyday heroes walk or ride among us, often without expecting anything in return.
