According to Works Minister, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, this would depend on when the adaptation of the RFID has reached a satisfactory rate.
As long as the online payment provider is linked to the highway concessionaires, you can use any digital mode of payment.
It's good that the authorities have been listening to the people's demand to make more online toll payments accessible.
The minister also added that the use of Touch 'n Go cards on highways will retire in 2025. SmartTag lanes will phase out as well.
