Regarding the previous post about George Floyd's death, there are people gather in Minneapolis Tuesday night to protest against the death of George Floyd.

Four Minneapolis officers involved in Floyd’s death were fired Tuesday but it failed to quell public indignation and triggers large-scale demonstrations on the street. According to CBS Minnesota,

“We’re here to let them know this can’t be tolerated, there will be severe consequences if they continue to kill us this will not go on another day,” a protester said.

“It’s real ugly. The police have to understand that this is the climate they have created, this is the climate they created,” another protester said.

The police officers fired tear gas at them to subdue the protestors.

“I got on my knees and I put up a peace sign and they tear-gassed me,” another protester said. “And I said, ‘Tear gas me again because non-violence seems healing.”

According to The Jakarta Post, at a news conference earlier in the day, Mayor Jacob Frey said it was clear the death of the man, later identified as George Floyd, was unjustified, and he acknowledged that race was a factor in Monday evening's fatal encounter.

An investigation had opened to investigate the death of George Floyd.
