The Facebook page PW Community highlighted the campaign as a scam.
PW Community claimed that all expenses for the Palestinian patients are covered by the Malaysian government, making additional donations unnecessary.
The organization announced a temporary halt to the donation campaign.
They stated the pause was to address the accusations and review the legitimacy of their fundraising efforts.
