WATCH: These Guys Found An Airbnb For RM10 In Genting And It Looks Straight Out Of Silent Hill!

Recently, a post went viral on TikTok (@letoatreides_) after a man named Marwan shared his shocking experience with an Airbnb accommodation he booked at Amber Court, Genting Highlands.

At first glance, it seemed like a great deal for a two-storey house for only RM10 per night! Sounds unbelievable, right? But as the saying goes, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

When Marwan arrived at the property, he was stunned by the actual condition of the place. In the video he shared, the house looked like it had been abandoned for years.

As soon as he stepped through the main door, stagnant water was visible in the living room. One of the windows had fallen off, and the unit was left without curtains. The entire place was empty, no furniture, no decorations, nothing to make it feel remotely like a home.

The cement floor was covered in dust and debris, clearly showing no signs of upkeep. But what really sent chills down viewers' spines was the single curtain found in the house, tied in a way that looked eerily like a hanging rope.

Interestingly, despite its run-down state, the house still had functioning electricity. Marwan and his friend discovered that the kitchen lights could still be switched on, suggesting the unit was still connected to the power supply.

According to Marwan, he and his friend felt deceived by the Airbnb host, as the property looked nothing like what was promised. Though they spent some time exploring the place, it was clear they decided not to stay, not even for RM10 a night.

The entire experience gave off a paranormal vibe, almost like a haunted house exploration video. Still, many netizens praised the duo for their bravery in checking out the eerie property.

From a positive angle, the only redeeming feature of the accommodation was the stunning natural view from its window, a small consolation in an otherwise creepy setting.

When the video made its way to TikTok's comment section, netizens had mixed reactions. Some were shocked by how bad the condition was, while others joked that the cheap price made sense after seeing the state of the place. A few even mentioned that people still live in the Amber Court condominium, adding another layer of mystery to the story.

Regardless, one thing is for sure:  this RM10 Airbnb has officially joined the ranks of the internet's most unsettling travel stories.
