Some time ago, a few Malaysians posted on TikTok saying that their Coffee Bean's order came with edible straws. However, people were still skeptical. 

That is until their employee stepped up and made a TikTok video confirming it their purple-colored straws are indeed safe to consume.

Made entirely of rice, these Coffee Bean's straws are naturally very solid and can be softened once soaked in your drink. The advisable way of consuming it, according to the barista, is to submerge the straw inside your drinks for a few seconds before biting into it. 

This is such a creative approach to reduce plastic consumption among their customers, which deserves a round of applause. Nothing is more comforting than knowing that we can now help save turtles in style!
