Taylor Swift has transferred 3,000 USD (RM13k) to fans who are affected by the effects of COVID-19 on the economy.

According to Sin Chew Daily, Samantha Jacobson, a fan of Taylor, who is a waitress in Disneyland in Florida. Due to the effects of COVID-19, her workplace has closed down temporarily, causing Samantha to be unemployed for 30 days.

Samantha whined about it on her social media which then the post caught the attention of Taylor. Surprisingly, Taylor contacted Samantha and offered to help her out by transferring 3,000 USD to her! Thus making 'taylor swift 3000' to become a popular search on Twitter.
