Program Jaringan Prihatin was announced during the tabling of Budget 2021 last year.

The government is allocating RM3.5 billion to be disbursed to around 8.5 million individuals of the B40 group.

So, you'll be receiving RM180 telco credit each to either purchase an internet subscription plan OR subsidise the cost of a brand new smartphone.

The PM recently announced that households with school-going kids will receive an increase to RM300 for their purchase of smartphones or tablets.
