A recent post by Iqbalsukor on Threads has gone viral, highlighting a troubling incident on the road believed to have taken place in Penang. The post includes dashcam footage that captured a close call involving a Perodua Bezza and a worker's bus.
In the video, the Bezza is seen travelling in the left lane while traffic appears to be moving smoothly. Without warning, a workers bus parked by the roadside suddenly begins to reverse, despite there being no clear space for such a manoeuvre.

Sensing danger as the bus moved closer, the Bezza driver is believed to have honked several times to alert the bus driver. However, the warning seems to have been ignored, with the bus continuing to reverse.
The Bezza driver then tried to avoid a collision, but due to another vehicle occupying the right lane, he was unable to switch lanes. This led to his car making contact with the rear of the reversing bus.
Iqbal, in his post, expressed disbelief at the situation, saying, "Surely this can't be blamed on the blind spot too. Reversing without checking the mirrors at all, it seems."
The video quickly gained attention online, drawing strong reactions from netizens. Many commented that such reckless behaviour is not uncommon among bus drivers. Others voiced their frustration with drivers who reverse irresponsibly in areas where it is clearly unsafe to do so.
The incident has sparked renewed discussions about road safety and the need for stricter enforcement when it comes to heavy vehicles operating in public traffic areas.
