Guess R.Kelly won't be blasting anymore sweet tunes after this. Following his conviction of sex trafficking, the R&B singer has been proven guilty and is now sentenced to serving 30 YEARS behind bars!
But...that's not all. Apart from the heinous offence, the 55-year-old was also tried for rackateering aka fraud.
The sentencing, however, was met with disapproval by Kelly's legal representatives. The team is now attempting to plea for a much reduced sentence.
Back in September 2021, the singer generated media buzz after allegations were made regarding his dirty past. One of which involved misusing his celebrity status to commit sexual abuse on countless women and even minors.
