Since the epidemic began and we were ordered into lockdown for our own protection, we've seen many of our favourite local micro, small, and medium businesses close their doors. When we were finally able to go out and enjoy life again after the lockdown, it was distressing and heartbreaking to realise how many of our local stores had closed down.
We never realised how much these small businesses actually meant to us until they were gone.
In reality, micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are more important than they seem to be, they are the backbone of our nation's economy, contributing to the growth and development of our economy.
unifi Business x SME Day
To show your appreciation to local SMEs, join unifi Business as they show their support and celebrate local SMEs on SME Day which is on the 27th of June 2022. Since this is the first time it is being widely celebrated in Malaysia, the celebrations started on the 1st of June and will continue until the end of the month with the peak celebration on 20 to 30 June 2022.
