A creator on TikTok @samii63_ recently published a video centering hateful comments towards Malaysia and Malaysians in general, allegedly made by Australians on his older postings.
@samii63_ gained popularity on the platform for sharing travel videos, and has since shifted focus to Malaysian cuisine and travel experiences after relocating to the country from Australia.
The creator responded to the derogatory remarks by compiling city scenes in Malaysia and ending it with a statement that says,
"It might not be perfect, but this is our home and we are lucky to live here."
Peeking through the comment section, the various people shared their viewpoints, including Australians themselves.
Every country has its strengths and weaknesses, and it's essential to recognize and address them constructively. Racism is unacceptable regardless of one's nationality or background.
