A recent TikTok post by user @4iliff_ has gone viral after a man named Liff exposed a group of individuals carelessly dumping garbage into a river. The video, captured through a dashcam, has sparked outrage online and renewed calls for stricter enforcement against illegal dumping.

In the footage, a man can be seen standing on a bridge in Taman Sri Plentong, Masai, Johor, casually throwing trash into an abandoned river. The incident reportedly took place on May 7. As the video continues, several other individuals are shown unloading a lorry filled with rubbish, allegedly with the intention of discarding it in the same area.

Appalled by what he witnessed, Liff immediately pulled over to confront the group. In the video, he can be heard shouting at them, demanding they pick up the trash and questioning why they brought it there in the first place.

"Oi, it's easy for you to just dump here! What the hell are you thinking dumping that there? Why are you throwing trash here? Pick up your garbage. Why did you bring it here?" Liff shouted, clearly angry.

"That black plastic bag you dumped there, pick it up before I call the police. No wonder there's so much trash at the side you guys are the ones dumping it!"

Following the incident, Liff urged the Pasir Gudang City Council and other relevant authorities to take immediate action to curb such behaviour.

"To the relevant authorities, please take action. Day by day, the garbage keeps piling up. If action is not taken, the dumping will continue," he wrote in the video's caption.

The video quickly gained traction, with many Malaysians expressing their support for Liff's actions. In the comments section, netizens condemned the individuals involved, calling their behaviour disgraceful and irresponsible. Some also pointed out the long-term environmental consequences of such actions, warning that continued neglect could lead to more frequent ecological disasters.

Liff's swift and courageous confrontation of the perpetrators has earned him widespread praise, with many users commending him for standing up for the environment and holding the offenders accountable.
