Recently, a TikTok post by user @aien_suraya sparked widespread discussion after she shared a video capturing scenes at the popular Cameron Valley Tea House in Cameron Highlands. The clip, which quickly went viral, showed families enjoying the scenic tea plantation views, but also highlighted a concerning feature at the site: a large cement slide used by visiting children.
Unlike the typical plastic slides commonly found in playgrounds, this one is made entirely of cement. While it may appear harmless at first glance, many social media users, especially parents, have raised alarms about the potential danger it poses to young children, whose bodies are still developing and more vulnerable to injury.
In the video, several children can be seen losing control of their speed as they descend the steep cement slide. Some of them hit the ground forcefully and burst into tears, unable to handle the impact of the fall.

The woman behind the video, Aien, voiced her concern over the safety of the attraction. She claimed her own child was injured after using the slide.
"People fall badly. If there were some padding, it would be okay. But even my child hit their face. It's really dangerous," Aien said.
She went on to urge fellow parents to stay vigilant and monitor their children's movements while at the location.
"Why do I feel like this slide is extremely dangerous? I can't even watch people go down it, it's too nerve-wracking," she added in another post.

The video's comment section quickly filled with worried reactions from the public. Many echoed Aien's concerns, pointing out how dangerous the slide appeared for young kids. Some even shared their own harrowing experiences from playing on cement slides in the past.
Others noted that the structure is far too steep to be safe for children and called for immediate improvements to ensure a safer play area for families visiting the tea house.
