Pretty flowers, pastel colours and picturesque settings? They're out. What's in? Graffiti walls, broken mannequins and neon. Yeah you heard us right, this new cafe in Chow Kit has brought a whole different vibe to Kuala Lumpur, and we're dying for the hype!
Known as Licky Chan & The Poke Guy, it is an ice cream as well as tattoo parlor all mashed up into one. Housed in a double story shop lot, the cafe experiments with all types of ice cream flavours, from alcohol-infused, to 'halal' ones.
Almost all their ice creams are gluten-free (cone included), and they also have a variety of choices for vegans. They display over 20 flavours at a time, and constantly switch it up, to keep things interesting.
Besides that, they also serve a selection of drinks, from coffee and tea, soft drinks to cocktails, wines, and even cakes!
The cafe exuberates a run-down, dodgy, old kind vibe, plus a burst of neon colours. With a ball pool on the rooftop, and a tattoo artist ready to ink your skin, creativity has risen to some new levels.
So much excitement all that's left to do is get a tad boozy and ink it UP!
