Halloween month is near, and that means fright and fear!

The latest documentary to come to Netflix is The Devil on Trial and it’s the story about the first and only time demonic possession has been officially used as legal defense in the United States.

Releasing October 17, the real case of the Devil made me do it took place in 1981 Connecticut, where Arne Johnson was on trial for killing his landlord Alan Bono.

The story was told as apart of the Ed and Lorraine Warren of the Conjuring series. The two had helped Johnson’s future wife Debbie Glatzel’s family with a supposed demonic possession before the murder.

In reality though, the story has a much more complicating history.

A great Halloween-month watch, stay tuned for one scary-ass documentary coming to your small screens in less than a month!
