A heartwarming act of kindness by a man known as Paan (@paan_singgit) has recently gone viral on TikTok, capturing the attention and admiration of netizens. In his post, Paan shared a touching moment of himself performing charity by sharing his fortune in the form of banana leaf nasi lemak.
@paan_singgit kali ni saya dah beli gerai nasi lemak ni untuk sehari. merasa jugak jadi tauke nasi lemak. berapa pun orang beli harga dia sama je. nasi lemak ni memang sedap. susah nak jumpa yang berlauk ni harga normal RM 2 #fypシ゚ #fyp #foryou #foryoupage original sound - paan_singgit
It all began when Paan stopped by a roadside stall in Taman Fasa 2G, Manjung, and decided to buy up all the nasi lemak available there. He revealed that the stall sold the dish at a very affordable price, with the variety served with side dishes costing only RM2 each.
After making his purchase, Paan went a step further and offered to work part-time at the stall, eager to experience what it was like to be a nasi lemak seller for a day.
What stood out the most was his decision to resell the nasi lemak at just RM1 per pack to customers who dropped by the stall, regardless of the quantity purchased.
"No matter how much people buy, the price is still the same. This nasi lemak is really delicious. It's hard to find one with side dishes at the normal price of RM2," Paan shared in his caption.
In the video, one male customer appeared visibly stunned upon learning that he only needed to pay RM1 for five packs of chicken nasi lemak. Another lighthearted moment occurred when a motorcyclist mentioned that he didnt have small change. In response, Paan cheekily handed the rider an RM1 note before taking it back, playfully pretending it was payment.
"I just want RM1. It's okay, today the price isn't normal, brother," he quipped.
Without even realising it, Paan had not only extended his charity to the community but also lent a helping hand to the stall owner by working alongside them.
In his closing message, he expressed gratitude to the nasi lemak seller for allowing him the opportunity to manage the stall that day.
The comments section was flooded with praise for Paan's generosity, with many commending his willingness to share his fortune. Some netizens also couldn't resist making lighthearted jokes about the incredibly low price he offered for the beloved Malaysian dish.
