A video that recently went viral on X (formerly Twitter) has sparked widespread concern after it captured a male student arguing with a female teacher inside a classroom.
In the short clip, the student can be seen behaving disrespectfully towards the teacher, who was in the middle of conducting a lesson. With a nonchalant attitude, the boy boldly told the teacher, "I come to school to meet my girlfriend," while casually crossing one leg over the other.
He further admitted that he had no intention of learning and only attended school to see his girlfriend. Throughout the interaction, the student appeared unfazed by the teacher's attempts to correct his behavior. He leaned back in his chair and tilted his head multiple times, showing little to no regard for the authority figure speaking to him.
What's more shocking is that the student even gave permission for the teacher to send the video, where he openly confesses his true reason for coming to school, to the school management.
The video, which has since circulated widely, drew heavy criticism online. The user who first shared the footage wrote, "Comes to school just to meet his girlfriend, not to study. You're in trouble, kid. Not sure which school this is, but if your parents see this video, I don't know what's going to happen."
In the comments section, many netizens expressed disappointment and concern over the student's attitude. Several users called on parents to play a more active role in their children's discipline and upbringing. Others warned that if such behavior goes unchecked, it could lead to more serious issues in the future.
The incident has reignited conversations about respect for teachers, discipline in schools, and the growing influence of social media in highlighting student misconduct.
