In a horrifying incident, a 20-year-old mentally retarded Chinese woman was brutally beaten to death by a group of individuals, including her caretaker, their son-in-law, son, father, and godbrother. The assailants used canes, wooden sticks, and clubs in the fatal assault, leaving a trail of iron burn marks on the victim's body.

Serdang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Anbalagan revealed that the police received a report about the incident at noon. The deceased woman, who held a disability card, had been under the care of a caretaker hired by her mother since she was 17 years old. The tragic event unfolded when the woman scolded and pinched her caretaker's grandchildren, leading to dissatisfaction within the family.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the assailants not only used physical force but also inflicted burn injuries with an iron. The autopsy report is currently pending, and the police are actively investigating the case under Section 302 (murder) of the Penal Code.

Seven individuals, aged between 25 and 79, have been arrested in connection with the crime. Four suspects, including the caretaker, remain in custody until January 28th, while three others have been released on police bail. The police urge the public to provide additional information related to the case by contacting the investigating officer, Assistant Superintendent Rosnani, at 018-2771866.

Rumors had circulated earlier, suggesting that the deceased woman suffered further brutality, including having her hair shaved and sustaining head injuries. Photos of the victim's injuries were shared on social media but were later deleted.
