Recently, a post went viral on TikTok (@unknownbryan_73) when a man known as Bryan shared a video capturing a frightening storm that struck around Kulim, Kedah.
In the clip, an elderly uncle riding a motorcycle loaded with boxes was seen stranded under a tree as heavy rain and strong winds swept through the area.
Bryan explained that he did not expect the rain to turn so intense, leaving the uncle unable to continue his journey. The elderly man, he added, may have panicked and felt uncertain about what to do in such a situation.
Moved by what he witnessed, Bryan and his friend rushed to help the stranded uncle, guiding him to a safer, sheltered spot. Despite the heavy downpour, both young men didn't hesitate to get drenched in order to assist him. One of them even took the initiative to move the motorcycle to a more protected place.
"That uncle had been sitting on his motorcycle for a while, stopping by the roadside, and there was no one who came to help. So my friend and I decided to help him no matter what.
"The important thing is that the uncle is safe because, as you can see, he stopped under that wet tree. It's okay, as long as he gets home safely once the rain stops. We sincerely just wanted the uncle to be safe," Bryan wrote in his caption.
The video quickly gained attention, with many in the comments section praising the two young men for their selfless actions and willingness to step in during a difficult moment.
Bryan also took the opportunity to thank his family for instilling the values of kindness and compassion in him.
"Thank you to my family who raised me and taught me to do good wherever I am for people who are in need. My parents said, help those who need help," Bryan shared.
The heartfelt video not only highlighted the dangers of sudden storms but also served as a reminder of the power of empathy and the importance of helping others in times of need.
