Filmed from June to July 2024 across Krabi, PhangNga, and Trang, the movie used spots like Khao PhanomBencha National Park, Huai To Waterfall, Ao PhangNga National Park, and Koh Kradan as its living, breathing backdrop and it shows off Thailand’s natural beauty in all its glory.
The movie has pumped over 400 million baht (about USD12.2million) into the Thai economy, hiring more than 2,245 local crew and service workers.
Tourisms already picking up steam. Travel experts say the stunning on-screen locations towering limestone cliffs, jungle rivers, serene beaches are drawing curious fans and adventurers to less-traveled areas of southern Thailand.So here are a few highlights you’ll want to visit:
Khao Phanom Bencha National Park (Krabi): lush jungle, epic waterfalls and hidden caves
Ao Phang Nga National Park (PhangNga): iconic karst-rock scenery
Ko Kradan (Trang): crystal-blue waters and sandy beaches
