The purple straws that come with your delicious beverages are EDIBLE! TikTok user, Azmey Zainal even gave us a demo in his now-viral video! 

At the moment of this writing, the video has garnered more than 1.1 million views & over 108 thousand likes.

The straw is 100% made of rice. To munch on it, make sure to soak it in the drink a little longer until it turns into a jelly-like texture. 

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has previously mentioned that the straws provided are biodegradable, edible, and 100% turtle-friendly rice straw.  

However, you and the turtles aren't encouraged to eat the straws.
