Izz Imil Shahrom, a 12-year-old math prodigy, has made history as the youngest student to be accepted into Universiti Malaya's Bachelor of Science in Mathematics program. Izz, who is a high-functioning autistic, showed an extraordinary talent for numbers at just three years old. By the age of five, he had already mastered advanced mathematics and the Periodic Table.
After briefly attending Kolej Permata Pintar, Izz was homeschooled to nurture his talents better. Now, Universiti Malaya has welcomed him with open arms, although they have requested privacy as he begins this next chapter of his academic journey.
Izz's achievements have inspired many, and the nation eagerly watches as he continues to excel in the world of mathematics.
