Recently, a UiTM (Universiti Teknologi MARA) student found herself at the center of an online storm after a TikTok video she posted went viral, showcasing a seemingly lavish lifestyle that raised eyebrows and stirred controversy.

The video depicted the student cruising in a high-end car, indulging in fine dining experiences at upscale restaurants, and flaunting purchases of expensive items from high end brands like Louis Vuitton and Dior. The portrayal of opulence within a university known for catering to less privileged students ignited a firestorm of criticism from netizens. Many voiced their outrage, claiming that her display of wealth contradicted UiTM's image as an affordable institution for students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. 

However, the story took a turn when the student took to TikTok Live to address the controversy. In her live session, she clarified that the intention behind her viral videos was to promote her various business ventures, including real estate dealings, luxury car dealership, and high-end brand affiliations. She asserted that the luxurious lifestyle showcased in her videos was a strategic content to amplify her entrepreneurial ventures.
