A Filipino man took romance to breathtaking new heights by popping the question more than 7,000 feet above ground at Vietnam's famous Rong May Glass Bridge. Suspended high in the mountains, the transparent bridge is not for the faint-hearted, making it the perfect setting for a proposal unlike any other.
The daring plan came together while the couple was organising their Vietnam trip. Knowing how unforgettable the glass bridge experience would be, he decided it was the ideal place to ask the biggest question of his life.
As he dropped to one knee in the middle of the bridge, his girlfriend was visibly terrified and overcome with emotion. Fighting back tears and fear, she still managed to walk back toward him, a moment that had viewers holding their breath along with her.
Trying to laugh through her nerves, she even joked about the engagement ring potentially slipping and falling off the bridge, thousands of feet below. The mix of fear, love, and humour only made the moment more memorable.
