The eatery, which offers a range of Indonesian-inspired dishes, gained attention not for its food, but for its menu riddled with glaring spelling mistakes. Among the most talked-about were "Udang Penyet" spelled as "Udang Penyaet," "Terung Berlada" as "Terror Balado," and "Kangkung Belacan" as "Kangkung Balance."

Other amusing errors included "Ayam Crispy" written as "Ayam Crespi," "Tauhu Tempe" turned into "Tahu Teme," and "Ikan Kembung" oddly listed as "Ikan Kambung." Perhaps the most confusing of all was "Briyani with Fried Chicken," which became "Briyani with Pray Chicken." The classic "Nasi Kukus Ayam Berempah" didn't escape unscathed either; it was printed as "Nasi Kukus Ayam Brempa."
"It's important to check spelling before printing," the TikTok user noted in the video.
Despite the slip-ups, some items on the menu were spelled correctly, such as "Nasi Kerabu," "Pecal Sayur," "Nasi Pecal," and "Ikan Pari Goreng." The user cheekily added in the caption, "Even though the spelling is wrong, we still understand it."
The video has since racked up over 110k views and ignited a wave of reactions online. Many users criticised the restaurant owner for not proofreading the menu, calling it unprofessional and careless. Others, however, speculated that the errors could be a deliberate marketing strategy to draw attention and create buzz online.
Whether intentional or not, the viral menu has certainly done one thing right: it has gotten people talking.
