Wan Muhamad Fahmi Wan Marzuki, a local English teacher from Kelantan, found himself at the center of an unexpected situation when he received a series of confessional messages from one of his Standard 6 female students on WhatsApp. The revelation came after the student discovered that Cikgu Jamie, as he is affectionately known, had transferred to a different school.

The heartfelt messages contained a plea from the student, urging Cikgu Jamie not to switch schools. She expressed a loss of enthusiasm for attending school, revealing, "I like you, and I don't want any other teacher to teach this class. I have been having a crush on you for a long time." The love confession left the teacher taken aback.

Screenshots of the conversation quickly went viral, triggering a wave of concern among netizens regarding the behavior of the teenage girl. Addressing the situation in an interview with mStar, Cikgu Jamie clarified that the relocation to a new school was not formally announced, as it occurred during the school holidays, leaving both his students and staff uninformed.

Despite the unexpected confession, Cikgu Jamie chose not to dwell on the text messages. Instead, he wished his students well and expressed his intention to visit them when he has some free time.
