The clip shows a white Toyota Vios driving off before the fuel pump nozzle was removed from its tank. The mishap caused the entire pump hose to detach from its kiosk, leaving onlookers stunned.
Instead of continuing to drive away, the driver reversed the car back to the pump. A few moments later, a petrol station attendant was seen assisting in removing the disconnected hose from underneath the car and detaching the nozzle still attached to the fuel tank.
As of now, the video has racked up 1 million views and over 37k likes, drawing a flood of reactions from social media users.
Many were baffled by how the driver could forget to remove the nozzle after refueling. Some commenters questioned why the driver remained inside the vehicle during the process, which is generally discouraged for safety reasons.
Others noted that the situation wasn't as catastrophic as it appeared, pointing out that the hose wasn't broken but simply detached from its connector, meaning it could be reattached without major repairs.
This incident serves as a reminder for drivers to always ensure the nozzle is removed before leaving the pump to avoid unnecessary accidents or damage.
