Apparently, someone had way too much free time on their hands.
As confirmed by the police, they have intercepted a package addressed to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Economics Minister Rafizi Ramli that included a toothpaste tube believed to contain cannabis extract.
The receiver information on the package purchased through the online marketplace Shopee was listed as "YB Mohd Rafizi bin Ramli & Anwar Ibrahim" and the Prisma Tower in Putrajaya. The police discovered that the sender of the package was located in Indonesia.
In a press statement today, Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli addressed the cannabis incident, saying that neither he or PM Anwar consumed weed, so all of it was a waste. In a light manner, he continued: "It's a waste of money for sure. I don't even take weed!".
