If you haven't heard of it, Project High Council is a new local drama that explores explores toxic traditions and gangsterism in Malaysian high school, and it is loosely based on true stories.
At the height of its premiere, this drama has successfully gained a strong following in a short amount of time! "Yet another proof that Malaysians will support local product if its good and not cliché." a Twitter user commented.
Netizens are saying that this is a "well deserved" moment for the talents involved as the series highlights important issues that high schoolers face in Malaysia. Although, it certainly does help that the cast line-up is full of amazing talents and fresh faces that are slowly dominating the entertainment industry.
