Another Petsmore branch is in hot water after a pet owner alleged that his dog was severely injured, in the hands of a staff member. 

The pet owner shared in a Facebook post on how his dog, Pax suffer from a dislocated femur bone, following a dental treatment at the Setapak Central branch. 

On November 20, Pax was brought in for an appointment at 10,45am. When the pet owner returned to get his dog at 12.30pm, the dog was heard howling but the groomer proceeded with the treatment.

At the end of the session, Pax was still screaming in pain. Upon rushing to PetVetAsia at 4pm, Pax was diagnosed with a dislocated femur bone on its right hind leg.

A police report was lodged against Petsmore. Vet has confirmed that Pax will not be able to walk or run in a normal condition. Therefore, a major surgery will be arranged. 

Petsmore has since released a statement, denying claims by the pet owner. 

This unfortunate incident came only a month after a little dog was found hung to death at the Kota Damansara branch. 

Pet owners might want to take extra caution after these incidents!
