Everyone's hate-to-love 'white knight' has finally found himself in the slammer, as the 5-season Netflix original 'You' comes to a close.
The final 10-episode season just released a week or so ago, picked off where Joe Goldberg became second half to business heiress Kate Lockwood.
The pair assumingly had a perfect 3-year marriage, before everything comes crashing down and unravelling, in the fifth and final season.
TLDR; Joe's sins eventually catches up to him, and his final love interest Louise Flannery (a.k.a Bronte), puts an end to his sociopathic escapades.
So, here are 8 quotes that held great meaning, and something to remember 'You' by:
1. The first step to fixing something is to know no matter how destroyed it seems, it can always be saved. - Joe Goldberg
2. I want my life to be about what I actually love. - Joe Goldberg
3. Sometimes, we do bad things for the people we love. Doesn't mean it's right, it means love is more important. - Joe Goldberg
4. Relationships are scary. You don't get all that goodness and possibility with zero risk. - Love Quinn
5. We're all a little broken. Yet some pieces still fit together. - Love Quinn
6. You compromise when you have to. When it's for them. - Joe Goldberg
7. If there is ever, even for a fleeting moment, a tiny voice in your head, and that tiny voice is telling you, I deserve better, listen to her. That's your partner. That's your real, true love. And if you betray her long enough, you will lose her. - Marienne Bellamy
8. The fantasy of a man like you is how we cope with the reality of a man like you. - Bronte/Louise
A great run for the show, and amazing performance by Penn Badgley... no notes!
