KFC Thailand Introduces Fried Chicken Incense Sticks For Chinese New Year, Draws Mixed Reaction

In Chinese culture, incense burning is thought to be the most common method for banishing bad chi and bringing in fresh, positive energy. Eating it however, is um... well we're not sure about this one.


KFC in Thailand has released fried chicken incense sticks in their Chinese New Year menu, and something as unique and creative as this rarely gets overlooked. Instantly, it drew reaction.



Some people praised KFC for their creativity, while others are a bit sceptical. One user commented, "Bad omen! Only spirits and ghost eat incense." while others agreed that this should have been released during the Hungry Ghost Festival.


However, one user jokingly remarked, "These sticks are perfect for people on a diet. Just stick it somewhere and smell it."
