The burger joint quickly gained popularity when IShowSpeed stopped by for a taste of Malaysia. It went viral on socials, and the shop even put up a banner after noting that IShowSpeed has eaten here.
However, it would appear that the joint’s shortlived success has come to a halt, with DBKL shutting them down.
Based on a TikTok video, said burger stand near the LRT station in Bangsar was seen being shutdown by DBKL officials. The video shows the authorities confiscating the shop’s equipment early yesterday morning.
Many netizens have expressed sadness over the closure, speculating that jealousy may have been the reason why.
