According to the TikTok account owner, fondly known as Kak Leeya, the staff in charge of making drinks were not present when she dropped by the stall. She later found out from the stall owner's child that the mother had briefly stepped out, leaving customers without their drink orders.
Rather than complaining or leaving, Kak Leeya decided to jump into action. Out of pure goodwill, she volunteered to help out and began preparing drinks for the waiting customers.
"Because no one was making drinks. So I just went ahead and made some. You can't eat roti canai without drinks. Might choke," she wrote in a humorous caption.
In the video, Kak Leeya could be seen confidently navigating the kitchen area, using the equipment with ease, almost like she had done it a hundred times before. She even asked the stall owner's child about the different tools and where they were kept, proving her hands-on and adaptable nature.
One of the highlights of the video came when the stall owner's child cheekily asked her to stop eating and help make two more drinks, one strong black coffee ("kopi o 'kaw' ") and an iced Nescafe served in a bowl. Without hesitation, Kak Leeya got up and continued her temporary role behind the counter.
"You're so funny, girl. You really made my morning. Luckily, the business skills I learned from my late parents are still there," she said with a laugh.
She later revealed that her parents had once owned a nasi lemak stall 37 years ago, which gave her the experience and confidence to prepare drinks like a pro.
In the comments section, netizens were thoroughly entertained by her cheerful attitude and willingness to lend a hand. Many praised her initiative and pointed out that her instincts were clearly shaped by her past experience in the food business.
Some small business owners even commented that her actions reflect the true spirit of a food vendor, ready to help, adapt, and serve, even when it's not her own stall.
Above all, Kak Leeya's spontaneous act of kindness left a lasting impression. Many commended her selflessness and positive energy, noting that it's rare to see someone step up so willingly just to help out, expecting nothing in return.
