Affordable RM5 meals listed under the "Menu Rahmah" initiative have been met with positive reception by the public, all thanks to the hypermarket chain Mydin that kickstarted it early this year. 

  
Fast forward to the present, it's reported that around 15,000 F&B outlets nationwide are now following suit.

To further raise the effort, the government is in the midst of developing an app under the same initiative. 

According to Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Salahuddin Ayub, this will ease the public in locating the nearest F&B outlets that offer "Menu Rahmah".

He quipped, "We will launch the application in the near future, give us time to develop the application first."
