Malaysian-born composer Joy Ngiaw has made the nation proud after winning a prestigious accolade at the Children's & Family Emmy Awards.
Ngiaw clinched the Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for an Animated Program award at the 4th edition of the ceremony, held in New York City. Her winning work was featured in the popular sci-fi animated adventure series WondLa, which is currently streaming its second season on Apple TV+.
The composer described the recognition as deeply meaningful, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to a globally celebrated production.
