A video has been circulating on social media, showing a Foodpanda rider deliberately damaging his motorcycle outside a Puchong mall. In the video, he repeatedly kicked the bike until it fell on its side, with various parts of the motorcycle coming loose.
According to Serdang police chief Assistant Commissioner A. A. Anbalagan, it appears that the Foodpanda rider had failed to make debt payments for a period of 34 months.
He expressed his dissatisfaction with the repossession of his bike by the recovery agent who filed a report regarding this situation on the same day at the Brickfields police station.
Netizens expressed sympathy for the man's situation but also understood the necessity of repossessing his motorcycle due to unpaid debts. However, they criticized his decision to destroy the vehicle out of anger.
