Okay, the 1997 "Batman & Robin" flick wasn't regarded as one of the best Batman renditions out there...and we think partly because of this particular suit:
The enhanced plastic nipples have attained the get-up a not so subtle moniker aka the "Bat-nipples". And yes, that's George Clooney.
But despite the mockery, the costume has somehow been placed under an auction, with a minimum $40,000 asking value no less! The justification? It's part of a cinematic history that only art lovers can appreciate.
The sale is happening on July 22-23 and is part of the Heritage Hollywood & Entertainment Signature Auctions. Till the day comes, we can't wait to find out if there's truly any takers for this!
